CFN-Belarus Christ For The Nations Is Our Mission Christ for the Nations brings together people of variousprofessions and ages , Christian denominations and churches, who work within the framework of several organizations for a common goal - to lift up the standard of the Word of God in all walks of life. Whatever the age, occupation, however difficult the situation - Jesus Christ brings hope and love, meaning and future to all who come to Him! Having started its work in 1993, CFN-Belarus joined a large commonwealth of Christ for the Nations ministries around the world. In the area of Biblical training alone, over 40 schools are functioning in more than 30 countries on all five continents. “Go and teach all nations” Is the command Christ gave to His disciples. They went forth and changed the whole world. This biblical concept forms the basis of Christ for the Nations Bible College, Belarus. "For the Word of God is quick and powerful" and, being planted deeply in people's hearts, it changes their lives and around. As a member of Christ for the Nations Association of Bible Schools CFN-Belarus aims to keep up a high standard of Bible training. "Glory of God and the recreation of the human spirit" should be music's only purpose according to Johann Sebastian Bach. Recall David: he talked about music ministry to God as an effective way into His presence. That is why every class evening at the college begins with singing His praises, so that the students may enter the presence of God and learn directly from the best Teacher - the Holy Spirit. This is the reason we attach great importance to the music track. Students learn about the Biblical ways of worship, the history of Christian music, and can also develop their skills in singing, playing the piano, violin, flute, guitar, and other instruments. But perhaps you've never done music professionally and yet sense a call to music ministry? Cheer up! Remember: the amateurs built the Ark, and the professionals, the Titanic. Music is a precious gift of God. Let's learn to value and use it properly! Why Should the Devil Have All the Good Music? This rhetorical question was posed by Martin Luther. Over the centuries Christian musicians have proved through their art that the best music should belong to God. Our musicians record music at Selax Studios to keep up the tradition. Tapes and discs with good music appeal not only to Christian audience. Our music can point the way to Christ for unbelievers. Please visit www.selax.com for details. In His Presence That's the title of the annual Praise and Worship Symposium which is another aspect of our music ministry. The Symposium bring together worship leaders, musicians, singers, sound engineers, and worshipers. Participants come from various places in the CIS and abroad. This is their unique opportunity for exchange, recording new projects, teaching, and fellowship. Creator . . . Creation . . . Creativity The Bible calls our God the Creator. His creativity is amazing. Man - the crown of His creation - no doubt, inherited creativity from his Creator as one of His gifts. Our Creative Center teaches to present the message of Jesus in a special way. Today people are not always disposed to listen to sermons yet they still need the Good News. Tell about Jesus in a way they would hear! Use the gifts and talents you have received from the Creator! Drama skits, mime, puppetry, choreography, clowning - these are tools our students learn to use to convey the message of Salvation. The skits are designed for various groups (adults and children, believers and unbelievers). You can invite our team to do an outreach at your church. Better yet - come to CFN and learn it yourselves! Of Such Is the Kingdom of Heaven. . . Every children's minister is probably convinced that no work is more important than to bring to Jesus those to whom 'the Kingdom of Heaven belongs'. Children have their whole lives ahead of them and it's up to us whether they will all be devoted to God! Here at the Children and Teen's Ministry track we encourage students to present the Word of God to children so that they wouldn't be 'bored over it'. A whole variety of methods is used for that purpose. What are they? We'd love to teach them to you at our classes! Besides theory, students develop their abilities in practice: in programs for orphans, for sick children, through camp ministry, designing lessons, special programs, scripts and testing them out with other students in the group. Daughters of the King This, our youngest, ministry is dedicated to women. Women form the greater portion of our population, and it is women who mainly comprise our contemporary Church. They have a special call on this earth, hence, special, unique, needs. The Daughters of the King ministry offers counseling and help to pregnant women, young mothers, women suffering from stress and oppression, post-abortion trauma. Recently a new avenue has been launched - Women's Ministry track offering training to sisters with a calling to women's ministry. There are areas where nobody can help a woman better than another woman. Prospering in Every Good Work There are lots of ways to serve people and disciples of Christ must seek to use them all. One way is to take care of daily needs. It's a great opportunity for ministry we must not miss. Everybody has needs - both believers and those who don't know Him yet. Your desire to ''simply' serve, with no profit motive, may reveal Jesus to these people. From the Heart International Charitable Organization, as one more areas of our work, is doing exactly that. We must take every effort for our Heavenly Father to be glorified in our works. CHRIST |
