Praise and Worship Symposium Organizers: International Organization "Christ for the Nations (Belarus) International Worship Institute (USA) Association of Churches "Union of Christians" (Russia) April 24-27 2002 in Saint Petersburg Dear Brothers and Sisters, We greet you with the love of our Lord Jesus Christ! How quickly time goes by! Not long ago, we were all gathered together at Praise and the Worship Symposium in St. Petersburg when we, in one spirit, praised our Lord, went up onto His spiritual mountain, and God opened up for us new areas of praise and worship. Our heavenly Father lifted us to a new level in our relationship with Him and with each other. Yes, God did much in our lives and hearts at that time. It is not only a pleasant memory, but it reminds us of what we are expecting ahead. Therefore, we need to strive further in our pursuit of achieving new heights in His presence. The symposium has gone into the history of "Praise" and has laid foundational teaching in the countries of the former Soviet Union. The symposium has already taken place six consecutive years and St. Petersburg will be hosting it now for the second time. Thousands of worship leaders who have attended formers symposiums testify to amazing changes God worked in their lives. Dear Brothers and Sisters! The organizers of the Praise and Worship Symposium, International Organization Christ for the Nations (Belarus), International Worship Institute (USA), and the Association of Churches "Union of Christians" (Russia), are pleased to announce that from April 24-27, 2002 the Praise and Worship Symposium is once again swinging wide open its doors and inviting pastors, musicians, and leaders of praise and worship. This year the symposium will be held in the sport and concert complex in St. Petersburg, Russia. One of the main speakers at the symposium will our dear friend LaMar Boschman. LaMar is Director and founder of the International Worship Institute, and the author of five books on worship. One entitled "The Prophetic Song" has been translated into the Russian language. David Baroni, whom we all grew to love and appreciate last year, will once again be present with us. As previous, he will share new songs and revelations. David is a well known composer, an anointed worship leader and teacher. Randy Adams, a well known sound engineer from America, will come once again to record the live worship during the symposium. Randy Adams has many projects all over the world including several with "Hosanna Integrity Music." In addition, all the main sessions will be put on video tape with the help of TBN. Sally Knox, David Brunk, Renee Miller together with many other anointed teachers will come to with inspiring words of encouragement. We will have the opportunity to get to know new songs and new worship teams who come specially to lead us into the wonderful presence of the Lord. Last year we were expecting 500 participants, but to our surprise, we were hosts to almost 1,000. Supernaturally, we were able to manage such a large number. This year we will have to limit the number of participants. In preparing for this symposium, we began by praying that God would expand our possibilities. It is so wonderful that our God is able to do much more than we ask or imagine. In 2002, the Praise and Worship Symposium can accept 3,000 participants. It will be held in the largest covered sports complex in the city. Praise God! Therefore, we are pleased to invite to Symposium 2002 pastors together with their worship teams. Now worship teams can come to the symposium as a complete team. All the participants of the symposium will need to take care of their own housing and meals in St. Petersburg. However, we have some good news. This year we may accept two people from each church (up to 1,000 people) at the expense of the organizers of the symposium. Therefore, we are asking you to begin praying and preparing for the symposium right now. Please begin saving funds, contacting your friends in St. Petersburg and thinking on how and where you may spend the nights during the time of the symposium. The time until the symposium is not all that far away. Therefore, as soon as you decide to participate, please inform our office. Every worship team is required to complete a symposium registration form and send it to the organizational office by April 1. 2002. The registration fee, which previously was $20, now is only 200 Rubles ($6.5) for each participant. You may pay this during registration when you come to St. Petersburg. More complete information about the symposium will be available later. Wish you God's blessings!
